I have saved stamps from Morrisons and have my £100 to spend at my lovely Morrisons.  OH has decided to go shopping on Xmas Eve to get the turkey etc. etc.  Luckily it is only us two for Xmas dinner and have bought 4 lamb chops in case turkeys have all been sold.  He is sure he can get a bargain, if not, I will go for a walk at the allotment and don't really care, save me from cooking.  He may be right, he may be wrong, as he calls me 'Miss panic button', who bought two turkeys last year, in case they sold out, and then they were all reduced in price on Xmas eve, well we had people for dinner so didn't want to say sorry, no dinner.  If it is beans on toast this year, maybe a divorce coming, but can't do that as not married.  Watch this space.  Son has booked restaurant for Boxing Day, so should be OK.  Seriously I am sure we have enough food in the freezer to eat for one day and when I look at the all the trolleys loaded up with food, think it would be sensible not to over indulge and get in debt.

Don't worry, he should find one.  I NEVER bought my Christmas duck from M&S till Christmas Eve (unfortunately never reduced in price).  Only had problems one Christmas and had to settle for a frozen one when I couldn't find a fresh one anywhere.  Anyway whats wrong with beans on toast - saves ont he washing up.

Last year my wife went to M and S,Salisbury's and Morrison's on Christmas Eve,ALL of them had massive reductions on turkeys or turkey crowns, she got 8 carrier bags full of nibbles,Gammon joints etc for less than £20,filled the spare freezer up in the shed,Happy Christmas xxxxx

We went to Asda one year on Christmas Eve and they had reduced turkey crowns at a very low price.  We bought quite a few to put in the freezer.

Good news they will be cheap
Bad news they may be sold out.    :coffee2:

Off to Morrisons 2 morrow, before they close, I hope.  Will let you know if we get any bargains, otherwise will get 6 bottles of wine, I am sure we will not starve.  Next door will probably invite us in, if not Kev seems to cook well.  :sunny: :sunny. Can't wait for the sales to buy crackers for next year and Xmas cards, just hope I remember where I have hidden them next year.   Actually a good frozen curry would do us OK.  Happy Christmas everyone and enjoy your turkey or whatever.

They will go stale by then, but if you are just having crackers try some of those little wax covered edams to go with them. You can be very wicked then by eating baby cheeses :angel11:
