Allotments 4 All

Those of you who are my friends on Facebook might have already seen this, but I thought
I would share it here too.

While I was in Harpenden last week my son did this sketch of me.  I couldn't stop laughing
when I saw it. 

When I showed Colin he first of all asked if it was a woman, then he thought it was a friend
of ours who is 86.

I think there is a certain likeness, especially one of the eyes.

I'm seeing it now Betty, but I didn't recognise you in it when I saw it on Facebook.  I think it's really rather good now.

Betty - I think you should put up an actual photo so that those of us who don't know you personally can do a comparison

It has a sort of primitive look about it don't you think?

I thought it was Bettty in her Activar.

Absolutely NOT true!   

It looks just like you to me.  Two eyes, one nose, one mouth, some hair, chin.  You have all those don't you? It must be you.

It could be you if it was smiling!

Loads of character in that sketch Betty,a lifetime of living has endeared itself to the drawing, and flowed thru the graphite tip to create
an image that personifies your very essence,a caricature of womanhood captured that is you,and no other.

Your Son has forever endeared himself to mum with a tribute,"that only he sees",Blessed are the artists   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or in this case........get the Erasure out.......
