Allotments 4 All

Frost on the windscreen yesterday with winds, rain and Sunny spells, started to feel the cold as it the first time I put something other than a Polo shirt on. Cold this morning but dry and cloudy at the mo. 

rained all day long!!

Absolutely lovely here...  and all I'd really like to do is escape the the plot but I also need to wait for my son to arrive to help me re-roof a garden shed before it is designated a covered swimming pool on the Community Charge list!

Then there's lunch to do for my parents.. so here I am busy waiting.

Where is he??

Looking bleak outside. very dark and overcast sky, but never mind in a few weeks time it will be the shortest day-21st dec i think    

Raining in Notts

Raining here.  No wrong!  it is sleeting! 

Ground very sodden.  Such a difference from this time last year when soil was as dry as bone.

Same here - first sleet of the year and very wet and unpleasant.

Dry, but very cold its not rained for 2 days, temp at the mo is 7c, i think another    is called for,,,,,

Cold & crisp here in Cheshire & lots of sunshine. Been for a walk in Dunham Massey as Tatton Park is closed now on Mondays & I'm also ready for another . It was about 4deg when we were out.

Light rain. high of 10c. low of 7c  that todays forecast for the north west   

Sunshine and clear blue sky's but cold in Notts.

The weather here is too miserable to even think about never mind post.   3rd day damp, cold and misty.  I am going to watch Cheers on tv to get a laugh.

Heavy rain last night, lots of standing puddles this morning. But pretty much a sunny day, so nice.

Hard frost last night grass outside all white.  Been very warm and cloudy all week but hoping for a sunny day today when the fog clears.
