Allotments 4 All

It must be autumn - home again from the Dorset Steam Fair this week, the house martens have gone today & tonight is the last night of the Proms.

No, no, no, nope...can't be doing with Autumn already...the House martens are probably just having a few days late summer break..... one of those last-minute dot com get aways on the cheep.  ;)

After all summer was late getting started and I we need a bit more warm sunshine before the big downhill decline sets in and frosts over again.

Hands up for who wants more sun.  ;D

Not here today in too hot lovely Enfield, north London.  Just waiting for it to cool down before I can go to the lovely allotment and do some watering.

Mad dogs and Englishmen  go out in a midday sun... I've just got back.  ::)

Not a lot of choice really as it was then or not at all. Time to cook the evening meal soon.

Same hear AR, Mad dogs then down the club for a few Strongbows.  ;D

I still have swallows to fledge,  summer is not over yet.   not until they fly....

Now strongbow sounds just my cup of tea idea of heaven... that or a cold draught guinness  ;)

Especially as the "Autumn" weather is scorching.  ;D

No... don't do that. Stick them under a sun-lamp so they stay around for longer or they're be off to warmer places.

Swallows went a little while back, but still quite a few House Martins about here  :)
