I have grown some gourds for the 1st time and am quite pleased.  Does anyone know how to make them last longer?

Wow..they are beautiful! ..particularly that 'frosty' looking one.
I suspect Jeannine is your person to the answers.
What I understand..if kept dry they will cure the skins really hard and last sometime as they are..or..you could make some gourd containers... I'll have a look at my book and see what it says..won't be long..

The kinds of gourds you have pictures will last about as long as the longer lasting winter squash, maybe a bit longer if fully mature and cured before pulling them and they  should be treated then stored in much the same way, they will not last for years like some of the hard skinned ones ( birdhouse, dippers , tops etc)

Well done they look great and will make lovely autumn decorations.
