Just to say "thank you" to members who responded to my query, either on the thread or via pm.  It is all much appreciated :).  I shall probably place an order with adaptive seeds next week - will let you know how I get on!
:)
Incidentally, jayb, choosing one of their pea varieties for the  seed circle sounds an excellent idea.  I'm tempted to do something along the same lines but don't want to double up on anything someone else has done - any idea which varieties you'll be sowing at this stage?

I'm not sure yet of my final grow list, but if you would like to grow any of them for the circle that is fine by me  :)

Bought from SluisGarden last year.  They do the sprount Amaroso which does very well in dry gravelly soils, I also got Calabrese Lord which has huge very early heads, and Kumo Kumo squash which was very very productive.  But their P&P charge is very high and they also charge vat.  Luckily got some amaroso and KK left and got Lord from elsewhere.

I don't think I have mentioned Sativa Rheingau yet.  No, not what the name might suggest (hemp - what did you think of ;) ), but they stock over 100 varieties from the Swiss HSL equivalent, Pro Specie Rara.
Google translate helps, but for variety names it is useful to go for the original text.

And to think I'm inclined to stick to lidl and save my own.. ::) ::). BTW I've a wonder woman Latvian cleaner/ friend/ gardener/ who comes 2x a week and speaks Russian [and Latvian] if you need translation post on Mon or Wed. and I'll ask Dzintra if that helps at all.

Just found this tiny company:
http://www.tomatensamen.at/

Their beans are fabulous and they also have loads of tomatoes and cucumbers.

Could not resist ordering a few beans and hope they will come soon.
