I like the way Tulip says when you have finished reading it to send it on, I can't imagine ever finishing it!!!

I agree - 'tis a brills book, lots of info. 

I've also got the RHS Growing Vegetables by Tony Biggs.  I think this is a good beginners book too - lots of illustrations and a handy month by month guide at the back.

I also think the Joy Larkcom book is brilliant. My other half is jealous as I have been reading it and ignoring him every evening!!!!!

my copy has just arrived so I am off to read it !  :)
