Allotments 4 All

My tickets for GWL arrived yesterday, me and friend Jane are going on Wednesday 13th, the first day. Anyone else making the trip?

Just back from the show, feel a little disappointed. Not as many exhibitors as previous years, still a few freebies though so can't moan. The gardens were a bit sparse too, good allotment society little plots though. My favourite stand was a handcraft one where they had a knitted veg plot, everything was knitted it was amazing! And if you like wine, cheese and chutney you will be well away in the food bit! ;D

I just had a call from a friend with the award results. He said the gardens were few and far between, but the weather was terrible for building the exhibits. A lot of us could not get sponsors this year. I shall miss the freebie carrier bags, I went around about ten times a day. Will have to buy my own toothpaste this year ;D
