Too much shade for tomatoes ?

Last year when I used my 4 tier plastic greenhouse I used it to grow some tomatoes and it was postioned next to my shed which had sun about half the day.  However it was a windy spot and by the end of the year the plastic was all torn and it was barely standing up. I bought a new cover and moved it to the end of the garden and with the use of tent pegs etc it it is standing firmly against the neighbours fence. However now that the leaves have grown on surrounding trees ( none of which are in my garden !)  I've noticed that the "greenhouse" is in the shade for pretty much all of the day. I reckon it gets maybe an hour of slight direct sunlight. I am using the greenhouse to grow two tomato plants but will the constant shade have a detrimental effect?  I have put the plants in a Growbag cut in half, as suggested by another forum member.
Anybody any experience of growing in shade?

They will really struggle in the shade and do need sunlight, and ventilation.

Full sun is pretty important, shade will be no good.

The more sunlight the better! Tommies are like us - loads of sun but not too hot, and plenty of drink...ahem... ;D You should most defo shift your greenhouse  fitzsie :)
If tha does nowt, tha gets nowt. Simple!

They will grow very tall and lanky without sun and do very badly XX Jeannine

I was putting off the inevitable!! If the rain stops I'll do it this afternoon as I'm at work all weekend (won't even see anything of the Jubilee celebrations either).  Just need to find a spot now...................
thanks guys

Moved!!  The only site in the garden  I can place it securely is behind part of a fence, which means the top part ( standing above the fence) gets the sun in the morning and as the sun moves to the west will gradually hit the whole greenhouse.  At least it will get full sun for some hours of the day, some improvement.
I hope the plants appreciate my efforts and show me a response !!! ;)
