Hello

OK, I have in my garden a greenhouse that I built from wood, bamboo poles,
and recycled plastic bottles. It's pretty awesome. Except we're moving
house to a place without much of a garden to speak of, so after many tears,
much regret (and silent celebration from my girlfriend), I'm offering it up
for anyone who can take it away.

Here's what you need to know though:

1) It will need a little fixing - some of the roof sections are a little
loose. Also, bear in mind I made this myself, so it's not exactly precision
engineering! It's a labour of love if you fancy a greenhouse with no carbon
footprint.

2) It's quite BIG. You will need a van to take it. It comes apart into
sections, but those sections are too big for any car. It's 143cm wide by
185cm long, and about 200cm tall at the peak of the room depending on how
deep you bury the legs.

3) You need to take it before 7th June when we're moving. Evenings are
best. I am happy to dismantle it for you, and help you lift it into the
car. It's pretty light.

Perhaps you just want the bottles to build your own - that's fine too! It
wouldn't take long to destroy :)

Preference will be given to those that can collect soon, and are polite and
reasonable. Thanks!

I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

I love it. The way he has worked the green bottles into it is so nice
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

WOW!!! what an excellent idea. For me who is a DIY dunce, that would be brilliant! I have no greenhouse or indeed any sheltered area at all--- I wonder how hard it would be to build a big seedbox like that, to start off spring crops outdoors??
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
