Twiggy our Budgie went nuts this morning when I went through to her this morning.   She clung to the cage in terror.   I couldn't understand what was wrong with her until OH said,  it could be your T shirt.  I had on a blue white striped T shirt.   I took it off and put on a plain top and Twiggy calmed down.  How odd!!!   Does that mean I have to keep the striped one covered up.   ??? ??? ::)

Don't really know how to answer that.

Could it be that Twiggy mistook you for a very large budgie?

Years ago I bred budgies for a hobby (along with various finches and cockatiels) but can't really remember a bad reaction to stripped clothing. Budgies, on the other hand, can be quite easily startled if they are dozzing!  ::)
