Allotments 4 All

Dry here at the moment but it is supposed to be raining.

Raing here,that dreary drizzle..........we need it though :-\

mostly cloudy, dry no wind feels cool even though its 11c at the moment

Grey with odd bits of drizzle in oxfordshire.

Dark and gloomy with the Sun threatening to come out a few times and with the odd spot of rain.   :(

No one much gets it in the south east of England.. Do they.  :(

Our forecast was for rain on Saturday but if you blinked you would have missed it.

It's great to go out and keep dry but I'm almost missing the odd soaking. What worries me most, apart from a very difficult year on the allotment if things don't improve, is how the elderly will cope if the situation becomes severe with stand-pipes in the street.

With increased house building in our region and an ever increasing population (for one reason or another) it amazes me that there's enough water to go round at the best of times.

On a cheerful note: Who knows... perhaps we'll have floods all through June and July.    ::)

gloomy looking day here in preston lancs......10.1c  rain is forecast for the rest of the comeing week

There's a little rain in the air.... if you stand still and concentrate you can actually feel some of it falling.  ::)

Generally grey and overcast on the sunny (?) south coast.

Proper steady rainfall today here in South Staffs.

Was hoping for a nice day down the lottie but sure it will do the tatties good.

Easter monday and its raining !! IT NEVER FAILS-but never mind it saves me watering and the spuds will love it.

Yep - Easter hols and it's raining. The proper stuff now - wet ground, puddles and fairly continuous if not heavy.

It'll do a bit of good. Every little helps.  ;)

All my plant trays and buckets are full so i have poured the water into the garden beds near the trees and larger plants my thinking is that the soil might hold onto the water in the comming months once the top drys out :)

Yes going to chase the tree surgeon tomorrow and see if i can get more wood chips and call the brewery and see if they will let me have some spent hops

Thats easter out of the way!!  whats next  spring bank ?..hope the weathers better then.
