Hello all

I am just after about 6 potatoes for planting........ I have looked around and I have to buy way more than I need for my little garden planters.  We have just had our second child and so I do not have the time to get up the allotment now but would love to just plant some in the back garden..

In Nottingham and would like either maris pipers or desriee (if thats how you spell it) if not any others would be great

Many thanks

Dave

Yes..poundshop or wilko..they do their spuds in small quantities. It will cost more than pound in postage to send few spuds for you.
Or..you can nip into your local supermarket/ veg shop and buy few loose potatoes and plant them..they will just as well.. ;)..and propably even cheaper than buying 'seed potatoes'... ;D

5 spuds for a £1 !!!   If allotment association start an account with a wholesale supplier, 25Kg of pots is around £12 , apx 50p a kg about 10 tubers.
