Allotments 4 All

Grey start but may brighten up...  :)

dry and overcast at the moment, rain forecast later...temp of  9.2c. 

It did brighten up but like me it's going grey, again...  :'(

Another good day - the birds were singing their hearts out this evening so there's promise in the air.

I will be so pleased to see the drab, long dark days fade.

Looks like we're in for a mild week-end. Working today, but tomorrows definitely a lottie day.
It's already nearly 10 degrees and it's only 9.30a.m.
Time to get some seeds in!!

10.0c here in preston, forecast is good for the week so its time to get started on thr allotment, so its spuds, broadbeans and onion sets to day

Brilliant.... grey at 7am but it's grown progressively better through the day.

A lovely sunny afternoon to be in the greenhouse, equipped with the pond net to help the bumble bees on their correct journeys  ;D

Absolutely brilliant outside it was really a pleasure to be outside on the lotty again this morning,  :)

Another great day sun burned through the cloud about 10 this morning  blue sky all day  8)

Today (12th March) was very much the same........ warmed as they day went on.  :)

cloudy day,  dry, temp of 9.9c would be warmer if sun came out   8)

The warm-weather gardeners are all out - lawns being scalped!

Yes Aden, the drone of the lawnmowers drowned out the sound of the humble bumble here too!

Murky mist here this evening - it came rolling over the bungalow opposite us and shrouded everything in dampness.

A good belt of rain would have been more appreciated.  ::)
