Allotments 4 All

I've been staying at my son's house in Harpenden for the past two and a half weeks and just got back home this afternoon.  I'd spoken to my husband every day on the phone and thought it was a bit strange that he kept on telling me to stay there a bit longer......

Well, I found out why when I got back and a strong smell of paint hit me as soon as I walked in the door.  He has been busy decorating! 

Only problem is - all my 'stuff' has been moved and I now have the lovely job of sorting it all out and putting it away.  He says he hasn't thrown anything away just in case it was something I needed so that's one good thing at least.  I was a bit worried he might have thrown all my seeds away but he hasn't.

I seem to have accumulated a vast supply of electrical cables and things to do with computers.  It's like Steptoe's yard in here..........

What a nice surprise, except for the sorting out work just before Christmas of course.

Once you get started you'll be feeling very rich - hope you will be finding all that long lost and buried treasure .....   ;) and not just old and useless cables.

I hope the paint job was pleasant surprise..and not like when my OH decided to similar trick and the colour did 'hit me on the face'.. ::)
