The US found exactly the solution it intended to find, what are you talking about? What do you think the object of the exercise was in the first place?

Ill tell you. Irag was about cheap oil, nothing more or less.  The US 's entire economy hangs on and revolves round oil.  The usual sources of cheap oil for the US are drying up - Veneuzuela being the primary source. Iraq was seen as the perfect target.

For a start, iraq was run by an evil man of whom it wa seasy to drum up hatred against. Second, Iraqs oil production was only running at about 10% capacity, and has been for years. It has huge untaapped reserves. Thirdly, Saddam was threatening to sell oil in euros - and if you dont understand why thats is an Armageddon Scenario for the US, ill explain.

US Dollors (USD) are the fiat currency for oil. All oil is traded in dollars, and that gives the US a COLLOSAL economic advantage, which is why its such a powerhouse. If i want to buy oil, i need to buy dollars, or earn dollars. Hence the US benefits. If the price of oil rises, i need to sell more to the US, or buy more dollars, and since demand is up, i pay more. US wins. If oil price falls, the US still sells dollars, and then buys more oil with the same amount of dollars. US wins. It doesnt matter how the price of oil, and the exchange rate of dollars aginst other currencies varies, the US wins every way.

This win/win  advantage, were it to vanish overnight , would remove 40% of the US economy from the equation, the US would become a second rate trading economy. Its an economic armageddon. hence the US will prevent oil being sold in any other currency than dollars, at any cost, including war and invasion. Saddams mistake was to threaten to do exactly that, and the US diodnt care how many kurds he gassed or billions he embezelled, the moment he threatened the US economy he was a marked man. 

The rubbish peddled by GWB and the liar Blair was just the excuse to engage saddam in war. There never was any WMD's, butr that was an inconvenient truth. Dr David Kelly knew that, and was going to spill the beans, and so he had to be silenced. Anyoine who thinks he comitted suicide need to stop reading the Beano and wake up. Kelly was killed by the CIA/NSA and  the scene cleaned up and staged by MI5 and the Met - and theres plenty of evidence for that - to shut him up.

Blair had his own agenda for Iraq, he had one eye on the future and knew if he wrecked Irtaq with war, it would provide him and his dreadful wife with a massive income foir years afterwards, one way or another.

Nu Labour has  lot to answer for.
