Allotments 4 All

Has everybody had their chances now? All done and dusted?
Did you all get what you fancied? Anything really exciting?

  I had lots of different things only reqested a couple of items as really didn't have a lot to swop (Well nothing interesting) but Jayb sent me lots of her own seeds to try which was really kind  . Now I can't wait till spring !!

Well I got my spagna beans & broad beans express, that's the one that Chris likes. I can't remember what else I had but lots of goodies. I have a very senior mind ;D. I too cannot wait for Spring ;D. Will we all be sowing leeks soon. I haven't read the piece but in my Grow It magazine (courtesy os Tesco club card) we can sow leeks now.

Very enjoyable swap - thanks Jayb for all your hard work sorting it out. Right when is Spring?

One last stop left, a return to Brown thumb, as they missed the super additions made by Ceres and Stopp. Then I'll put the parcel on hold until the new Year, when if there are enough interested people, it can start off again.

The parcel has grown and developed amazingly with the generosity from all taking part. A big THANK YOU from me  ;D

I've spotted a few things I would love to grow, one or two have gone to others but I'm sure there will be enough Danish Flag poppies to go around  :). Hopefully I'll be able to choose a couple of varieties of beans and peas after Brown thumb's turn.

Name them please  :)  You never know there may be seconds available or the lucky recipients can in turn produce seeds in 2012 and put some by for you.  I think you should have something resembling a proper turn yourself after all you have put into this super swap.  We need to know JayB  :)

If the amount of seeds and varieties keep increasing every swap, it will soon become the new seed bank for the UK  ;D

been off air for a while came back on last night ::)hope jayb has  had a dip and  what a list still remaining i too may wait until after xmas if thats ok with everyone  xsue

and also i think jayb should have first pick when anything she Fancy's comes along as with out your organizing we wouldn't be having ours

Thanks Galina, although I've just made a rough grow list for next year  :o between the seed circle, swaps and some recent purchases I'm already stuck for space  ;D

I've been playing around with making the seed list more user friendly and easier for me to keep the list updated and shared. Hopefully be able to try new format out for a tomato swap in Jan, if enough people fancy joining in.

Since Jayb has been the organiser I think that she ought to have first refusal of anything that arrives in the swap.

Thanks I received my parcel today.Fortunately I have got 3 to 4 months to work out where everything is to be placed on the allotment as there were so many goodies.I am going to be googling all over the festive period to get everything properly organised.That's my first New Years resolution.

I've started a new page to make listing and viewing easier, I'm going to update the seed list items before too long and then take a turn Yaayyyyyyyyy  ;D.

I'm sure I've got one or two packets over  :o If anyone is missing any seeds in their parcel pm me  :P
