Hi folks,

during the Wyevale 50p bonanza I went a bit blind and picked up some sweetcorn packets, without really noticing they weren't all the same variety.... so I've ended up with two packs each of swift and Mirai and one pack each of Prelude (Sutton's) and Sundance (also Sutton's).... Does anyone have an odd pack of Swift or Mirai that they'd be happy to swap for a pack of Prelude or Sundance?... I'll have two patches of sweetcorn next year (one on each plot) so I might as well make them consistent.....

For info Prelude is an early supersweet and Sundance is an RHS Merit very early very reliable variety.... I managed to grow it last year and got quite  afew plants throwing a decent second cob as well as an excellent first one, they seemed pretty bomb-proof.... if I'd been paying attention when I went off like a fox in a hen house at Wyevale I'd have cheerfully got all Sundance....

Are you looking for the Mirai Bicolour from T&M or the one from Unwins in the black packet?

I seem to have acquired many packs of sweetcorn seed, all diffferent varieties.  Next year I will grow Lark as it's lovely corn and maybe one other varietiy so have some packs to rehome.

Let me know and send an address and I will put what I've got in the post.  Dont need anything back as have 5 biscuit tins full of seed and need room for my Kings Seeds order  ::)

Ooh... many thanks for the offer, it's the Unwins one in the black packet.... Are you sure I can't press you to take something, I've got a big pie off seeds too adn if there's anythign you're wanting I'm pretty certain I can share.... I'm a bit of a bean, tomato and potato fiend....

Hi, Chris, I've just checked my seed box and I've got Swift.
PM me your address and I'll post them to you. I don't need any in return as i've also got Sundance, Minipop and my Daughter's got some she grew last year.

Hi All, sorry for delay,

Yes please ALexE, if you'd like some Blue Hopi I have some (if you want to grow a mealing variety.... )

Hi gavin, yes no worries, I'll send you the sundance, they're about as early a corn as I know, I have the advantage of some polytunnel space to get an early crop next year, and a freezer to preserve with.... Gem would be welcome as I don't ahve any seeds for that one for next year.....
