Allotments 4 All

We are hoping to have a Vegetable/Fruit/produce show next year.

When would be the best time to have it in order to get lots of entries? We need to avoid mid to late August because of our Summer Fayre.

Mid-late september gets most things in terms of veg but might not be so popular with the idiots flower growers :D

We did OK with 2nd weekend in September but better with the first weekend.

An issue with first week of September is that none of the big cucurbits are ready, and it's touch and go with the big onions too..... It's why I'm not fussed missing my local show and entering a different one two weeks later...
