Allotments 4 All

Has anyone been?we went to mull last year and it was stunning.  So want to go to strand 1st week if sept.  Can anyone recommend a good area to stay,thinking of taking our bikes.  Is the enough to keep us occupied for a week?

Never been but i know my sister in law and family have been goig since he children were young and they love it.
