Do Kestrel potatoes make good chips ?

ive never tried them, but you should just give them ago and let us know:)

What have you got to loose

Chipping, baking, boiling fried after boiling and of course roasting

I've always grown Kestrel, the best all rounder, great size and the slugs tend to leave them alone.   :D

The biggest slug i have is a pensioner with an empty carrier bag. I swear he can smell them being dug up.

This is quite a good site when trying to work out what time of tats to use  ;D

also if you can be ar**d to do this it really works, I have only done it once but it was worth it  ;)

I thought this was going to be someone asking how you grow chips. I was all set to explain about potatoes and how food doesn't grow as we get it from the supermarket.  ;D
