does any body know where i can get hold of large asparagas  plants so they will crop next season ?, dont mind paying or swap ,i am inbillingshurst ,west sussex.

Hmm..I do have to dissapoint you with your search. Even if you are able find and buy 'large' plants..they will still need time to establish and cropping next summer is unlikely..not only that..it is getting bit late for buying plants as they are now left to grow and build energy for next year.
Usually you buy bare rooted crowns early in the year..or seedling plants that are sold in pots.
You best bet propably is to find commercial grower who may be able to split his plants..but even then..not this time of the year.
