I've put two "Tumbler" tomato plants each in a hanging basket. They have grown about a foot and have started flowering,( also been feeding them once a week). Looking at them this evening I've noticed that some of the leaves have started to shrivel up. This can't be good news, the plants are not dry, what is going wrong?

Think I might have answered my own question so would be grateful to have it confirmed. Reading a previous post about leaves curling I think I have been feeding too soon.  Am I right ?

some of my tomatoes have shrivelled leaves at the bottom. I'm putting it down to the wind giving them wind burn. I should have made wind breaks but not enough time. Runner beans have the same problem. Guess hanging baskets are even more vulnerable. My basket is in the poly  is rather glad I haven't found a strong person to put it up for me yet... ;)
