Can I request the opinion of the experts out there on mowers?
I need a new one and I find the cylinder one which I currently use is heavy to lift in and out of the shed.  It also has to have the blades sharpened.
Lidl have on offer a rotary mower which looks ok.   The sort I am thinking of buying.  Does it look value for money.   How about replacing the blade?  How big is 100 sq metres in yards?   The size of lawn it caters for.
Has anyone any advice please?

Replacing bits of lidl stuff can sometime prove difficult.  I need a new valve for my pressure cooker.

just been behind someone taking theirs back, didn't start

At £90 for an electric rotary mower I cant think you'd ever worry about replacing the blade, youd be far more likely to replace the mower first, lets face it it wont last more than say 3 seasons.  Not any reflection on Lidl's as I happen to think their cheap stuff wipes the floor with say 'Sovereign' from homebase etc.

Best laid plans and all that

100 sq metres is just under 120 sq yards (119.59). Rotary blades are pretty easy to replace too.

Thanks for replies and working the square area out for me.  I think I will stick with Argos or B & Q and wait for their sales.
So sorted with thanks again to A4A.

Nope! Mine is a Bosch but I've had rotary mowers in the past where I've needed to change the blade and it's extremely easy to do.  :)

But does a Lidl mower take a standard size blade and if not can you source new ones?
