hi all , i noticed that someone living near the allotment is dumping a lot of laminate flooring,my question is would it be suitable to use as edging for my plot,or would it rot /warp too quick ? Sorry if not posted on right board.

I really don't think it's worth using unless it's solid wood laminate. Quite often solid wood laminate is a soft wood inner with a thinner hard wood laminate on top. Regular laminate wouldn't last two minutes!! With only the bathroom or kitchen laminate lasting three minutes.  I wouldnt bother myself.

I made a small 5' x 5' raised bed with it last year and it seemed to hold up ok. Was only temporary but it was serviceable when I took it up at the end of the season and I reckon it would have done another year.
I hoe, I hoe, then off to work I go.

A bloke on our site drops off a lot of laminate flooring for other plot holders, mainly they use it for make shift paths, its easy to more it somewhere else next year, I think it would be OK for small temporary beds, but as said it won't last forever.  :-\
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.
