3 in a hooj pot with loads of muck, compost and potato fertiliser. Wrapped up in a large polythene bag :-)

I planted 4 Rocket in 3 tubs and a bin today in the rain, :o the ones in the ground will be done in the next few days.     :-\    ;)

4 rocket in a dustbin yesterday.  Am expecting lift off any time now.

Our Pentland Javelin are going in today. ;D

I dug over the bed this afternoon, and I've got a tray of Lady Cs chitting away nicely. Tomorrow, with any luck!

Two well-sprouted Witchill went under a Geoff Hamilton cloche yesterday.

2 Red Duke of Yorks and 3 Sharpes Express in bag/bins today in the garden  :D

This morning: one Lady Cristl in a tub at home.

But I have some Red Duke of York tubers and having read the last post, now need to find another tub :-)

10 Rocket  planted yesterday morning.  Covered in a fleece tunnel.    ???

Cover with a fleece Charlie, or large plastic bottles or anything you can think of to keep the soil warm, the warmer it is the quicker they'll grow.    ;)

3 Swift planted in polypots and a handfull of Purple Eyed Seedling that I found from last year thrown into a bag for good measure, Let battle commence ;D

On Saturday 19th February (in the pouring rain) I planted one Swift in a big pot of old compost, then placed it inside a black dustbin on top of an upturned pot, and put the lid on.

I stood the dustbin in the corner of the most sheltered part of my back garden, and forgot to check it till yesterday. I dug around carefully. The shoots are still green and look a little bit bigger, so I put the lid back on. When the weather is better I will take the lid off.

As the compost is only general purpose I am planning to feed once it is up and growing.

I planted 2 Rocket in the ground today, the soil has just about dryed out.   :-\

oh yeah, and what happened to the start date  >:( just cos you are the boss doesn't mean you can change the goal posts  ;D

Finally got the back door open today  8) and planted my spuds, in black florist tubs again.  ;D

Are u all keeping that soil nice and warm.   :)
