THey've currently got really cheap BFB and cloches, plus strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, and various alliums.... can't say I fancied their garlic though, it looked like it had whitre rot controlled with chemicals on it... didn't look at shallots or onions cos have plenty already...

^^ yes the garlic in the Loughborough shop was rotting too, makes you wonder why they bother to put it out.

A pack of their BF&B had split open and you could see the bone component, it was like gravel, don't know how long that will take to break down in the soil.

But people were buying, and the 20 litre bags of seed compost for 99p so I followed the herd and gave them a go.

Hi everyone.

I found focus diy shop very cheap for soft fruits, 3 for £5.00, they also do potatoes, garlic onions etc 3 for £5.00.

Tomorrow Aldi have got some more good stuff (if their handout is anything to go by)... highlight for me are the cheap propagators... a pack of three trays, with 24 inserts per and three lids for 3.49.... If I just bought the lids from anywhere I've seen them locally it would cost over a fiver.... adn I need more lids so I'll be paying them a visit....
