Glass fronted stove which can be used to burn wood or solid fuel. Ours is flat topped so in order to help save the planet (and money) I use it to cook on. It is wonderful for cooking stews,curries, meat and rice pudding! But mainly it is lovely to walk in and see it lit when you get in from work or the plot, :D
