Here are a few of the large striped stuffer tomatoes from my one plant. It has been very prolific and still has a few fruit ripening outside. What a huge relief it has been to be spared the dreaded blight this year. I'd almost forgotten what it was like to still be harvesting tomatoes in September!

This year it was the white fly infestation which 'blighted' my gardening pleasure. I'm hoping the coming winter will kill them all off!

Tricia, they look great,

What is the taste like? I have never tried growing them but always on the look out for tasty Toms

they look really good, do you stuff them, and what with?  :)

I have grown it for the last two years with success. It only has average taste, but it is ideal for stuffing as the outer flesh is thick and the insides easily spooned out before stuffing.

I agree with realfood - except I think the flavour is good. Tonight I stuffed one with cream cheese and herbs then zapped it in the microwave for 40 seconds. I liked it as I love the flavour of microwaved tomatoes! Most of them I've used, together with plum tomatoes, to make passata and tomato sauce.
