Try google sites

https://sites.google.com/ - all free and makes use of google docs and picasa for docs and image uploading..

You can always point a proper domain name at it as well if you want..
I haven't done any web design for ages and there are so many free blogger type sites I wouldn't bother these days...

Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

Most website hosts have these facilities available. A small space (3GB) with one.com http://www.one.com/en/ will cost approx. £20 a year which includes the cost of a .uk domain. Another one, 2GB will cost the same with free .uk domain at CWCS Hosting http://www.cwcs.co.uk/web-hosting/linux-starter-hosting/

How many pages would 2GB be roughly do you know?

My website has about 250MB of files, that's 1/12 of the space available on one.com, have a look at it.

I used www.btck.co.uk for ours. It is free for charity/community groups.
