Ok just opened it and nearly fainted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its going to take ages to look through it all  :o
Aiming to get it on its way Thus afternoon so better get a shift on  ;D

flowerofshona2007

Ok all done now  ;D
The Ulluco has rotted all but 2 bits which had rooted so i have potted them up to save them and hopefull have some to share next year.
Trying some black radish and a few peas and some blue kale and.........   ok im going to be busy.
Have added some rare beans and many other goodies to the box.

clue is a hard one but here goes...
Sounds like a touch of Cornwall with hints of Sharons dancing around handbags in this area  ;D    ;D    ;D
It will be in the post first thing tomorrow morning.

Robert_Brenchley

Only one of my ulluco has sprouted, but I turned one of the others out of its pot, and it was just sitting there. Maybe they have a dormant period?

flowerofshona2007

The ones i threw out had gone black and mouldy and turned into a yucky mess :(
The 2 bits i have here have rooted and are potted up just to save them, not something i was going to try but you never know they may be a nice suprise  :D
Its all ready to go first thing tomorrow morning so someone will have great fun over the weekend if it gets there fast !

At 4.15am I realised the refrence to Cornwall was to do with my street name ::) I thought it was something to do with a members name who lives in Essex ;D

Lovely catching up on this thread, made me smile and some super clues  ;D

Robert, apparently Ulluco can last through to next season and has the potential to grow from a very dried up tuber (as does oca), though I've not tried this.
I think it may have been a bit of a long shot to include them but nothing ventured. Hopefully I'll have some spare later on if anyone fancies another go with them next year  :) cos I think they are lovely, despite producing such a small crop!
