If it is of help to anyone this is from the Royal Mail site and is for 1st class packages

Weight range    First Class prices
0-100g    £1.39
101-250g    £1.72
251-500g    £2.24
501-750g    £2.75
751-1000g    £3.35
1001-1250g    £4.50
1251-1500g   £5.20
1501-1750g   £5.90
1751-2000g   £6.60
2001-4000g   £8.22
Each additional 2kg or part thereof     £2.80

Recorded delivery is 74p on top again.
As far as I remember the parcel started off at just under 2 kilos and is now around 2.8 kilos (thank you julie)so its super to think it has been growing all that time.
The parcel would now cost £8.22 + .74 = £8.96 to post, by Royal Mail. I can't see it going over this amount.

If anyone is thinking off using a courier it may be worth checking if seeds are restricted in the UK or if this is for overseas/ customs concerns and delays.

Jayb that is very clear, is that OK with everyone. no special delivery, no high insurance just the recorded fee.

Talking of new arrival.. I received abos today in the mail with a large tin of baby formula, several packets of baby cereal, alovely shopping bag and a book telling me how to be a good Mum.. somebodies idea of a joke no doubt.

The dining table is covered in packets of "gems".

I still haven't decided what to try but some of the squashes and obscure tommies are calling.

Got me envelopes ready, seed box is briming with goodies to add and i will have to get a bottle of wine (mind cider is cheaper   ;D ) desk is clear and dogs can have a treat to keep them quite and im all ready to pounce on the postman/woman  ;D   ;D   ;D 
I thought it would be a week or two before it was my turn so was not ready for the excitment!but boy im going to enjoy it !!!! (my something to look forward to :D)

It arrived today  ;D

But hubby had a hospital appointment for his heart and we where in there 5 hours  :(
So i will have a a wonderful morning tomorrow as im so tired i can hardly keep my eyes open ......................but i want to look  ;D
Have my seeds ready to add to the box and a pile of little bags to go in there to help out to.
