Allotments 4 All

My garlic has produced seed heads SCAPES  that  I have harvested to add to salads. The question now is when is it ready to dig up ?

what's the foliage like, Dawn, ours were mainly browned off so we harvested ours this week  ;D

CLassically it's when the first half-dozen leaves have died , though  with the drought we're having I guess if they're still plenbty green they're still growing.....
