Many years ago I bought out the entire load of some clay 5 inch pots from a nursery going to close.

Today I am selling my stuff at the usual 75p but parsley in the clay pots are going for £1.

25p more for a good plant in an old pot?-would you?

yes definatly ive used quite a lot of parsley lately which i have had topurchase from a super market (now sown some) each sprig cost me between 50 and 80 pence so worth it for sure

It`s not so much the parsley-it`s the old pot.

I just thought folk would like to buy something in a memory,and if I get a few pence more so much the better-far easier than selling on E-bay?

Slightly off topic

My mother-in-law has two medium sized clay pots which she soaked and scrubbed until they were very clean.  She now uses them for bread baking moulds.

The bread tastes great, its shape is somewhat naughty ..... :-) and causes a lot of giggles.

Keep the medium sized ones ... :-)
