Last year wasn't the best on my allotment. It's a reasonable size with four 13ftx30ft sections to it but it is also a pretty new site and weed is a big issue. So that, coupled with the fact I've got other non allotment commitments means I can't give it the time it needs and the weeds won. So this year I've  bought some decent ground cover matting to reduce the weeds and am going to grow plugs through it.

Can anyone recommend a good place to go in the West Yorkshire area (or on the internet) for vegetable  plug plants. The normal google search seems to bring up sites that are expensive (like a pound a plant in many cases).

You could try Morrisons, the only trouble is that you never know what they're having or when.

£8 is good for 100 plug plants but the trouble here is it is also an extra £8 postage too, that makes it a little expensive, although I cannot offer a better suggestion.

You could try Milford Plants at South Milford, but I'd ring them first.
