I've just ordered a couple of pairs of specs from an online supplier - at a fraction (around a quarter) of the cost from the High Street. I shall report back on quality when they arrive!

Not broke, but have just started wearing glasses & Daughter insisted that they should be rimless.

Hence the rip-off price for 2 bits of bendy wire on top of the lens price!

Specs really are pricey aren't they?  Mine (rimless too) cost nearly £200.. but I did get a free pair, which with sods law are the ones I wear more often ::)

Over £400 for my last pair - the blooming varifocals bungs my price up

And no hunting for the other pairs which you can't see!!
