Allotments 4 All

Tricia, it is no big deal, I do a few toms each year under lights inside, I always do just 2 Tumblers as I am not keen on the flavour but it beats the shops and keeps us going till the better ones come along. This year this is the best as  the other one has no flowers opened yet but getting there. I start them between Christmas and New Year but this time it was a bit later beginning of January sometime. I have a lamp that has a base for a pot, has a full daylight bulb in that comes on  automatically when the light is low .It is a bit gimmicky but it was a housewarming gift seems to work but I do miss my heated, lit greenhouse!!

So don't feel bad,apart from the other Tumbler which has to share the light when it can, my others are all stretched and skinny, they were only started a few weeks ago and they look terrible.

I am trusting the lamp to help out with the odd pepper seed or two ::)

Re the weather here, I have seen no snow at all only on the mountains in the distance, and have had no heating on this winter, the West Coast of BC is very mild....usually.
