I want a 'gibbering' emoticon, honestly, if it's really bad or cold, I'll stay at home tomorrow but we do have heating in the shed(big heater ran on a generator) and nice, comfy seats, kettle etc so I'll be well looked after, they have choclit biscuits there anorl, ain't got a bite of chocolate in this house since christmas  ;D

So far, every one I know who is supposed to have swine flu seems to have just had a cold. I think the symptoms are exactly the same.

I rang the hot line when my grand daughter was sent home from school because she was supposed to have it and the questions they asked to diagnose it over the phone and got a yes to were the same symptoms for loads of illnesses. She went back to school the next day. Yet will be on the statistics as having it

If you feel fit enough to go, then you go.

Proper flu knocks you on your back for days, you can't move and all you want to do is sleep.

I've had it since last tuesday, diagnosed on wednesday, I think, believe me, it's not like a heavy cold..the symptoms are different, for a start, I think it wasn't as widespread as the press made out  :)

Pesky Wabbit

It can't be as bad as Man-flu though.

Nothing is worse than Man-flu.

So how are you today? Have you been plotting or following instructions?!?

manicscousers

sorry, madam, been naughty, spent a lovely hour on the plot, only got 1 tami flu tablet to go, finished all me anti-biotics and feel brill for having been out in fresh air, I'd forgotten what it smelled like  ;D
I had on tights, thick trousers, big, fur lines boots, warm tee shirt, thick fleece, full length woollen coat, thick gloves and a snood, taking no chances, and I got to see me chooks  ;D

All together now : Awwwwwww! ;D ;D

I've been painting all morning and spent all pm until now  preparing papers for tonight's allotment committee meeting. Dull! :(

manicscousers

Well I'm back home now and it was a good meeting! New chairman who cuts ice.

manicscousers

glad you have a pro active chairman, that's the way Ray is, doesn't do him any good sometimes as he finds it difficult to let others do things, still, he's learning 'cos he's hurt his back AGAIN  ::) ;D
he's turned making the base for the new greenhouse over to 3 men with no back problems  ;D

lorna
