Just had to post to say we've double dug our first bed and some elephant garlic has gone in today, our very first attempt at growing something..... Feeling chuffed  ;D

Enjoyed reading your journal.
You seem to be having the same "kiddy" experience as us.
But it is so rewarding when they get on with enjoying themselves and leave you to do the digging isn't it.
When we've had a good time on the plot as a family, I always feel that we are providing the children with something really special.
