on saturday i sat my grade 2 drumming exam and ive just heard i passed with a merit 81/100.
just goes to prove you can teach an old dog new tricks lol
grade 3 here i come ;D

im good at that too Georgie, i drum on anything i can find drives my family mad, it was my grade 2 drum kit exam with trinity college, im so pleased that at my age i sat and passed a music exam ;D

they have exams for DRUMMERS  :o

Drummer spends a small fortune and a load of time trying (not very successfully) to learn to play the guitar..... one day he's out with the rest of the band and decides to impress them with his hard-won knowledge of his new instrument so he walks up to the counter of the shop and says

"I'd like a set of .009 Piccato flat-wound strings please"

The guy behind the counter gives him a long look and says

"You're a drummer aren't you?"
"Yes.... how did you know?"
"This is a fish and chip shop"

A singer...

The singer turns up (fashionably) late for rehearsal (as usual) ... discovers the drummer desperately trying to pull apart the bassist and the guitarist who seem to be having a massive scrap.... he joins in trying to help the drummer and shouts
"Why are they scrapping?"

The drummer responds

"The guitarist detuned one of the strings on his bass"
"So what?"
"He won't tell him which one!"
