I am looking into selling a friends registration plate which is worth a fair bit judging from the initial google inquiries I have made.
Are these websites that offer to sell the plates a rip off and does anyone have any experience of the place to go to get the very best prices. I would really like to get the best price for him as there are a few pennies in it for me too.  ;)

Auctions are always a good idea.

You can put a reserve on it so that if it does not match what you want it goes on unsold and any one interested can still make an offer through the auction house.
