Allotments 4 All

Help, my white stars are missing feathers from their neck and their bottoms, we have checked, there is no red mite in the hen house.

Please help, is this normal, do they moult and pull out their feathers, this time of year?

we could stuff pillows with the feathers ours are losing  ;D
