Allotments 4 All

I often notice in the list of members on line that there are a lot of names I do not recognise and also loads of guests.  Lots of posts have lots of reads but very few posts.

So come on you silent readers please give it a try.

I think that everything is running down for the winter.   

Perhaps it is down to people being unsure of the answers that others give due to how much knowledge some have over those who post. Some of the answers can be disconcerting to others who look for support and not criticism.
We all have a certain amount of knowledge to give, but there are those who give to much.
I am a person who prefers to show what can be done and not go into to much detail. Nor do I wish to have to much praise for it either.
I have a niece in Lancashire who has taken on a lottie and she has no idea of how to grow let alone what at the moment. But given time and the advice of those around she will be up and running and asking all sorts of questions to those on here.
Another newbie yet to arrive when she gets round to it.
Keep the newbies coming and the variety of questions will repeat themselves but new approaches will no dowt change.
Sometimes for the better and some not.
We are here to assist in anyway we can to improve the lottie owner or general gardener. Hopefully without to much information which may baffle them.

actually I think more people post in the winter than the summer, a bit like how more people listen to Test Match Special when the cricket's been rained off than when they're playing  :D

EHH! which section is lacking then? Always new questions, queries, and stories and jokes everytime I log on.

Look through every section even if you think it ain't your bag, there is plenty of action.

Forums like this tend to go quiet at times,  and be busy at others!
It's also typical that there are lots of members of which only a comparative few bother to post and comment.
I haven't been around much the past week, and many of the topics haven't been of much interest either.

I do try to look on here in the morning and evening if I can. I read as many posts as possible but don't answer every one. I would be here all day. Apart from that I don't always feel that I can be of help with every subject

Sometimes the question has already been comprehensively answered so why say it again? Sometimes a post really gets up your nose and rather than saying **!?**  you just say nothing at all. Sometimes you haven't a clue. Sometimes it's not something that interests you... and so on.
