Or cluck??  Dear wife's been on about it all day!
No great deal but, with 7 to lunch yesterday, including the two 6-8 year-olds, decided on chicken wings. Easy. Fat, & free-range of course. Something different? So found this one. Doubled that & oven cooked, of course. NOT deep oil!

But there was 'juice' left over. So - we (two) had some breasts to use up. Marinade for some hours, flour, egg & b/crumbs, & do on the bottom of the AGA till they started to caramelise. Turn & do till cooked. Served with celeriac chips in cheddar & parmesan sauce ( half milk & half cooking liquid) & broccoli.
