Allotments 4 All

Hia, I was googling pickled courgette recipes trying to make a gherkin style pickle (to deal with a glut of marrows both neighbours have given us from their allotments) and came across mention of one on this site several years ago.

Can anyone help me with this?  Thanks

I've tried search for you but can't find one, sorry  :)

Is this the one?
6 medium courgettes..chopped how you like
4 onions
2 green/red peppers
1lb brown/white sugar
celery seed..tea spoon
1/2 pint wine vinegar
1-2 teaspoon salt.

Finely slice/chop onions & peppers and mix with courgetts sprinkle with salt and leave to stand for over 2 hours.
Put all remaining ingredients in pan and boil...add courgettes, onions & peppers and boil for 3 mins.
Bottle.
