Allotments 4 All

yay picked the 1st of the runners(polestar) today ,not many but enough for two.

Got about another week or two before I can pick any.

have been :D picking ours for the last two weeks :)

I am always late with these as I like to make sure that they grow well and the old folks home get a good crop.
First beans are just showing so I got a few more weeks before we start to pick them.
I prefer painted lady myself always be a good cropper and no stringing either.

painted lady and scarlet emperor ? saved seed, had some beans off them , earliest were going over quickly, must've been lack of water, the new ones seem fine  :)

I have a few plants for early results and they are now producing, but my main batch are only just flowering.  I find the later ones give a better crop.  Will sow another batch this week, to last me to the first frosts.
