Allotments 4 All

Had agreat day yesterday. Went to see Betty's allotment site in Wallsall Rd the went back to our own to do some picking etc. Got home cooked a lovely chicken dinner, had acouple of glasses of wine. Just finished eating when I started to choke.I could feel abone stuck in me throat. Tone took me to A& and had an xray.Doc looked down me throat and said he couldn't see anything but if I had anymore probs with it then to go to Heartlands hospita cos they have an ENT dept. It still feels like the bone is there but Tone said it may be where me throat got scratched. Will be a while before I tackle a chicken leg again.

Ouch!  Hope it settles down quickly and that you don't need another hospital trip.

A couple of years ago I went the same route with a fish bone.  They dug around down my throat, and couldn't find it, didn't show up on the xray, and said the throat is very sensitive, and was most probably scratched.  It cleared up after 24 hours, luckily, so I didn't have to go the ENT.

Still feels as though its still in me throat. Am gonna drink to Stars Birthday now. See if that will shift it. ;D

Soak some bread in a nice soup ( not chicken) & eat it might dislodge anything if not, be carefull & keep an eye on it Shirl.
