Flighty

This is my plot log seat which as you can see has recently been colonised judging by the wood dust that has appeared.
I've yet to see any insects coming or going but wondered if anyone knows what they are likely to be.
Needless to say I'm no longer using it to sit down on!

Wood boring beetles. You can sit on it safely, they're not bum borers. They've been there a long time, as they leave the holes, and the sawdust, wen the adult beetle emerges.
