We pay £100 for a "big" one... but we do it over a holiday like Easter... and have inside contacts...  ::)

inside contacts sound like a good idea, we're trying to price things up for the next grant  ;D

Sparkly

About £160/170 for a big one around here. You could probably get a cheaper one with contacts as had been said. Just make sure they have a decent driver!

What you're putting in can make a difference... but we paid £135 plus parking permit of £30 last time we got one... for a small one.

ceres

We pay just under £300 for a large skip several times a year.  London prices.  :(

it'll be going in the club car park for the old greenhouse to be demolished into..anyway, I've sent for a couple of quotes, will see what they say, thanks, all. prices seem to vary wildly  ;D

your best finding one as close to you as possible, i wouldnt bother with anyones that are not local, they just ring round for you and take a cut of what you pay!

Just ring a local one
