I have enjoyed being a part of this forum for the last 3 years and have made many good friends. Today I have been accused of being racist and I really did not intend any offence to anyone and must apologise if I have.

Shirl, that is ridiculous.  You stay right where you are.  The reactions on that thread are bonkers.  Ignore it and carry on being one of the valued posters here.

You were not racist.I do not believe anyone was.Some people delight in reporting stuff to the moderator as they are so PC they see fault in everything.

Some idiots are far too quick to use the term "racist". Ignore them, stay here... as for those who go running to Dan when they manage to find something that they can misinterpret - he's a busy guy with better things to do... grow up.

It's a pity that 2 people in particular chose to get all aggressive when others were simply stating their views. Shame on those 2 for escalating it to this - learn how to play nicely or play somewhere else!

Dont go anywhere shirlton.  I havent seen the post but in my experience these sort of things happen on  internet forums all the time - It's difficult to express humour/sarcasm/irony and posts can be taken in ways not meant by the poster ...then people over react and it normally ends up with someone invoking the nazis! Then it all dies down and we start again.  Post on shirlton!

i think you should stay too, you are a long time forum member and have good things to say and have many friends. you give sensible advice about growing veg, which is what most people come here for.
